I talked to many professors about FMU's problems! And here is what I concluded: FMU is not doing well in the region; because they just accept anyone who applies. This creates many problems for the school. The most obvious, the majority of students are low functionning people and do not belong to college. Many of these "students" are using the school for their illegal activities. The adminsitration forces teachers to water down their standards in order to keep everyone. But still, over 70% drop out or transfer within the first year, and others will follow in the next year or two. Ultimately, I guess only about 5% of the admitted students in any semester get to graduate. To make up for the low standards and missed knowledge in the first, second, and third year, they make your last year very difficult and, sometime, they require you to take extra classes because they don't want you to be an embarassment for them after graduation but also they know you are stuck with them… As for the job, don't even dream about it. If you want to get that, you should find a real school such as CCU or Clemson U. . . That's what I did in my third semester and I am very happy where I am now. My two cents!!
