Honestly, If you want a REAL college experience, don't come to St. Lawrence. Not only is this school in the middle of absolutely no where, but there is no social life. The social life consists of drinking in dorms and then security just comes in and ruins it- even if you are 21. The school has taken away the entire greek system basically, theres never anything to do. No school spirit, oh and it's bitter cold- in October. Don't even bother leaving campus because theres just acres of land and cows. Also, if you know what you want to major in, DO NOT come here. This is a liberal arts school and all the professors are crazy. They base everything around a liberal education. You waste time you first year with what they like to call

a first year program

where you are forced to do community service and waste some more time.

The nearest form of civilzation is Syracuse and thats a 31/2 hour drive. its hard to find even a good resturant or anything around here.

St. Lawrence University sucks, the weather is also incredibly depressing- the sun shines hardly EVER and its always freezing. The administration has succeed in ruining the social life here so there's never anything fun to do. Not to mention this school is overpriced- don't waste your time on an application and visiting this school, its in the middle of no where.
