Don't even think about going here if you are an out-of-state student! They have obviously not had much experience with them and can't hand the out-of-state financial problems. I went to go to sign up for classes one day and it said that I couldn't. I called and they said I owed $1600 and that first person didn't know why. I spent a month being told to call this person and then this person and then this person to find out what had happened…and of course they never answer their phones! Then they call you the next day and then they say they'll call you back tomorrow. When they do call back, they tell you to call back. My dad finally called the dean of students and threatened to sue them and then they started getting serious. It took 4 members of the administration on a conference call with me and my dad to tell us what had happened.

Plus, the course work is incredibly EASY. When I first came in, I went to talk to an advisor and he told me that my work at SFCC would be easy because the expectations for graduating in Florida are much lower than in California. I was completely bored in my normal classes like math and english. They were teaching basic principles and reading material I had read in my freshman year in high school. I was talking to one of my professors at SFCC and she asked me what books I had read in my senior year AP english class. She said that those books were out of Santa Fe's range all together. I was appauled!

Think very hard about staying in your own state for college and then transfering to UF. Santa Fe is not the place for out-of-state students!
