In short: You get the best bang for your buck in this school.Solid education at very affordable tuition rates. Semi-reputatble school in New York City, but anywhere else, nobody will recognize Baruch. So, if you plan to stay and work in the Big Apple, then attend Baruch. If you plan to go to another city or plan to take advantage of international opportunities, you're better off attending NYU or Columbia.Facilities are mediocre. The school has an adequate gym. Computer lab is shared with the undergrads, which can be overbooked at times. The buildings (or "campus") are definitely not eye candy - very sterile, just bricks and steel. Bathrooms are unkept - usually very dirty. Library doesn't feel cozy with poor lighting - just feel like going to sleep every time I go there. The faculty ranges from excellent to mediocre depending on who you take.Perhaps the most annoying thing about Baruch is that a lot of the facilities are shared with the undergraduate students. Some of the undergraduate students are very inconsiderate and only do what they want to do without regard to others. Sometimes, I feel like I'm at a high school rather than a college.Best thing about Baruch is that its part of the CUNY system and you get to use all CUNY facilities - including the Graduate Center, which is very nice place to study and conduct research. The school is pretty competitive, and Baruch is doing as much as possible to boost the graduate school's ranking within the next decade.
