I attended McDaniel all 4 years of my college career. It was a great experience. I grew an incredible amount in my time here. I am a much more confident (and smarter, hopefully) person than I was as a freshman.
The best advice I can give someone is to get involved! Join a club, sport, greek life or work on campus. There are so many opportunities at McDaniel- people need to just take them.

The number of students is great. By the time you've been here a semester- you'll be able to walk in the cafeteria and know a decent number of people. It's a really great feeling to be able to walk across campus and say hi to a dozen people you're friends with on your way to class. Yet, I'm still meeting people that graduated with me (in 2008) that I'd never met before. So there are always new people to meet.

The teachers are amazing. Not only do they know their stuff, but they really care about you. I even count my adviser as a friend, and still visit her- even though I've graduated.

I highly recommend McDaniel. It really does change lives- if you let it.
