Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I visited King's College and knew of a few people that went there and loved it. I visited the school twice and I couldn't wait to go there. I decided to attend King's college because it was small and the McGowan School of Business was very well known. When I visited King's the school took alot of pride in it's Business and Physicians Assistant majors. They were constantly selling people on the idea that since they are a small school they give alot of attention and help to this students. Don't believe them! They are just trying to get your money! They hyped up their business school so much and how they have a AACSB accredidation which they said not many schools have. WRONG! I looked up schools that have the AACSB accredidation and there are ALOT of schools throughout the country that have it. All you have to do is go to the AACSB website and look up which schools have it. It's so important to research your school, major, program, and the accredidations!! Yes the AACSB accredidation is important but this isn't the only school that has it!! There are so many better schools out there!! I have a 3.5 gpa and i'm telling you this school is the biggest joke! Don't go here! There is no school pride and it's exactly like high school all over again except high school was actually better!

I went to King's for a year and it was horrible! The only people that should go there are people who want to be a Physician Assistant major or an Accounting major. The school of business doesn't really care about you unless you're an accounting major.

It's fun and interesting the first semester but after that the school starts to show it's true colors. Almost half of the people that were in my class transferred out to other schools. The faculty are all arrogant. The campus security is a joke and will write you up for anything. So many of my classmates got in trouble for things they didn't even do. For Example: a friend who was accused of plagarism and didn't even write the paper or was even in that class. There were also incidents of accusing students of drinking on campus when they were only standing in the dorm lobby. The school is so boring and such a waste of money!

The surrounding area is ugly and not safe. There were a few attacks on and campus security did nothing to help. The school tried to blame the students and said there was nothing they can do. All of the parties run out of beer by 9 which is lame because no one goes out untill about 11. There is nothing to do and i've heard it's getting worse there each year.

King's used to be a good school with good faculty, programs, and parties but now it's lame. The upperclassmen have all told me that they are glad to be getting out now because the school has gone downhill so much. I'm warning you don't go here!! I left and i'm so gladd to be out of there and so is everyone else who left! The people who did stay regret staying! don't go there!

If you do decide to go to this school stay as far away from Ms. Mercincavage and Mr. McGonigal!! All they want is to have students kicked out.
If you're looking into schools that are in Northeast PA i would suggest going to University of Scranton it has more people and a better location. They also offer more majors and better programs.
