OSU is a great school to attend. People are generally friendly, and have a wide range of interests and backgrounds. The educational value is great, and although counselors may be difficult to get in touch with at times, the vast majority of professors and student teachers are great. I feel like I have learned more in my 2 years at OSU than any other time in my life. Social life at Oregon State is hit or miss. Although it is not a true party school by any means, every weekend there are at least 2 or 3 large parties. Athletics make up a large part of the social life at this school. It's great to see all of Beaver Nation come out to support their team and have a good time. Overall I am truly happy I came to Oregon State, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good balance of all aspects of college life.
