After reading a few reviews of other public universities in Virginia, basically by alot of reviews you can not be happy anywhere. I'm for Northern Virginia I attend ODU, and I have not found any major negative experience. Most people who hate ODU are commuters or people who live in the Hampton Roads area. I wouldn't let any review on here deter you from coming to any university. Experience it for yourself first. I had an experience where about four people from my high school came to ODU. They all left after the first semester. Once you go to college you realize a semester goes ridiculously fast, especially for a first year student. I have spoken with all of them and they fully regret leaving and admit they didn't give ODU a chance. Give a school a chance for yourself.
