Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
Bryn Mawr is not for everyone. It takes a very strong person to withstand the extreme academic pressure, social weirdness, semi-isolation and generally close feeling of this school. However, all of that is only a first impression. The academic pressure can be defused simply by figuring out what matters most to you and relaxing about everything else. The social weirdness can seem stifling unless you reach out to people who seem like they could be cool. (and pretty much everyone has some cool in them) The semi-isolation can be cured by hopping the commuter train into Philadelphia—in less than 20 minutes you are in the middle of the city. The close feeling, well, it is a very small school, which you can choose to experience either as claustrophobic or supportive. It is really up to you. Oh, and you have to look for the men; they are there, but they won't find you on their own. But after all of this, I can promise you that once you emerge, you will be a Bryn Mawr Woman and ready to handle anything that comes at you.
