OKAY… furture student, i u better listen to me, because i will tell it to u straight like it is… am very blunt and realistic, and i hope this helps u..

firstly, i came to dis messed up school, cause i did not make up my mind on time n didnot apply to other schools,so Bemidji state was the only school i was able to get into, but am leaving next semester, i hav spent only 1 semester here, and i swear, i dont mind going to a community college, dis place is driving me crazy.

now to the point, this school is messed up, the social life is crying for help,like,der is nothing to do except from hunting deers..
The student are so NOT exposed, like dey lack ambition, and more than half of dem will tell u they want to be poor, So dont expect a Wall Street, guy or girl here.. Dey dont have anything to talk about so u will pefer dem to SHUT UP..

they dont have any clubs, and d old looking public pubs they have are nothing to write home about, and if ur less dan 21, dont even bother cos u cant get in. They dont have DJ's to run d music, so every song has to totally stop before another one starts. and dont expect to hear JayZ or Rihanna, cause it's all swing dances and country musics here
TO make matters worse, the 1 Cinema they have is closed down, So am going to miss the premiere of twilight, 'new moon'

it is highly difficult to make friends here if ur an out of state or international student, cause u will walk and be alone for 3 semesters, b4 u can get a friend here becos most of d students here r in state and dey already have friends the grew up with through high school, and are not ready to mingle wit an outsider. they have the terrible habit of smiling for 1 second at u and walking past u.. its annoying, cause u know dey wont talk to u, so why smile in d first place, dey call it 'Minnesota Nice' it is soo freaking cold here and nothing keeps u happy except your laptop, every out of state resident and int. student complains, apart from d bemidji locals, bbecause dey have dere families here dat dey hang out wit the only positive thing here in dis school is dat the prof n lecturers are nice and helpful, and there is free transport system in bemidji for students as long as u have ur students ID.. finally, all i can say is dat di place is a LOCAL VILLAGE.. dont expect 90210 or gossip girl here.. dis is not the college life u dream and fantasize about..AM outta here…

Your commentary on this school speaks more about yourself and need of an education than it does about the actual school itself. I am unaware of many prospective students that expecting a SoCal atmosphere at Bemidji State.

Perhaps instead of going to "dis messed up school" that is "messed up" you should return to a basic highschool English class. SON!
