St. John's University is a fabulous university. Please do not listen to these anonymous commentators; they apparently have a gripe and have taken to the Internet to settle it. Indeed, St. John's has over 20,000 students enrolled this year—are there 20,000 comments on here? No, there are a few individuals who had a bad experience and took to the Internet in a dark basement and typed away in front of the glowing screen, thinking they "got back" at St. John's.This University is fabulous. I did my undergraduate here and loved it so much that I applied to graduate school (and am currently completing that degree).St. John's has great, intelligent faculty from whom you will learn a great deal. The campus is breathtakingly beautiful. Students are very friendly and nice. Get to know them! It is a competitive school, please do not listen to the LIES on this board. St. John's University has just over a 40% acceptance rate according to the latest U.S. World News and Report College Rankings. That means that every 6 out of 10 people who apply here are rejected. It is competitive. I urge you to come to campus and see this beautiful place. Sit in a class; take a tour—see the REAL St. John's. See our basketball team play a game, whose home court is Madison Square Garden. See our library, or our beautiful architecture. It is such a shame that these bad reviews may impact a prospective student. They come from hate and are untrue. People who like things do not usually go out of their way to tell others; people who do not like something, however, almost ALWAYS go out of their way to get even and tell people. This is a world-class campus, with five locations. We even have a campus in Paris, and in Rome. Students are friendly. You make great connections. You learn a lot. You have a wonderful time. I urge you to check out St. John's University here in New York City. I was accepted to 4 Ivy-League schools (out of 4—I applied to 4 out of 8 Ivy-League schools while in high school) but I made the decision to come to St. John's because I fell in love with it. I wouldn't take it back any day of the week either. I got much more out of my years here then I could have ever at Yale or Harvard. I'm a proud Johnnie! I hope to maybe see you on campus some day!
