CVCC
is a good value for instate students. The financial aid
office proves to be unhelpful often and needs to improve.
The counseling department is under better management and has improved.
However, the ADA coordinator is unfriendly, unprofessional, and clearly hates
to provide assistance to disabled students.
After seeing the
treatment of disabled students by the ADA coordinator I fear
disabled students are not getting the help they deserve.
The aging school facilities and the lack of maintenance of
the electrically powered doors are becoming problematic for students which
are wheel chair bound the sidewalks also are dangers and
uneven and unusually have too much standing water after a
rain fall.
It would seem most instructors at the
college are helpful, knowledge, and work with their students.
However, there are instructors which have problems communicating effectively with
their students.
