I have been at LSU for 3 years now and it really was a mistake. It's true what people say how more than half of your highschool graduating class will go to LSU. Louisiana doesn't have any other real good schools besides LSU so not much variety. It's annoying because LSU feels just like highschool except with more alcohol. I don't know how people think LSU is a top tier school with a good rep. We have been NUMBER FREAKIN 1 in the nation for biggest party school for so many years in a row. And its not just partying that factors into that data, it's how many kids drink alchohol and how often, how often do the students typically student in a week, what is the University average G.P.A., number of doctoral degrees given in a year, number of masters, undergrad, placement of testing and so forth. People just think that means we have the best parties, uhhh no it means our reputation as a school will forever be hampered. I really wish I would have gone across the border to an elite Texas school like UT, A&M or Texas Tech.
