Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I just completed my MBA General Management Program in March 2010. I transferred to GCU from the Keller Grad School of Management (Devry). I was able to transfer credits into GCU from Keller, so I only had to complete 27 credits at GCU for my MBA. The coursework is difficult and there's PLENTY of case studies, research, and writing to complete, but my previous military experience and undergrad management degree allow me to succeed in my program. Student services and advisement was great when I started in June 2008, but they have declined I believe because of restructuring and new policies they have implemented. However, I believe in 2010 they are getting better because my advisers and counselor call me periodically to check-in and see how my class is going. I completed my MBA with a GPA of 3.73 and I have just started my MEd Secondary Education (IR) program. I taken over 27 courses online and I would recommend that anyone taking online courses that they should be self-disciplined and prepared to commit about 12 - 20 hours per week for each class to be successful. The only issue that I had so far was with the lack of participation for other students while completing the CLC Group projects and assignments.
