I was a transfer student out-of-state college, I had great expectations for Brooklyn College untill i went through registration process. Adminstration was completelly disorginized, bursurar, f/a and reg. offices did not know any answers to my questions, they sent me from one office to another untill i came back around to them. After i waited in long line, they said i should read catalogue or go online. When i was transfering i had more than 60 cr., transfer office told me i've take all lower and upper tier courses, only 17cr.were transfered.I don't know what advisors role in the transfer process was, because i had to meet each professor to recieve a permission to take their class. College space was too small for number of students attended it, on the common hr/lunch there was not enough sits or tables being available . Schedule of classes was absolutely not flexible, including campus and professors office hours. After i attend classes for one semester i transfered to Lehman College, that what one of the good made decisions.I transfered in Fall 2008, now is Spring 2010,couple days ago i had phone call from Brooklyn College that i owed them $10 for change of prog. Its just says about them how slow their administration works.
