Bel-Rea is a school all about the money. They lure you in with their ads, convince you to move across the country and then blatently lie to you when you come out here. I was told that I needed probably about $4000 to move out here and get settled until I could get a job. Problem is their administration will not listen to your requests for scheduling, like asking for either all morning classes or all evening classes. So therefore you can not get a job because they schedule with classes 2 hours apart all day. Then you have to drop some classes so you can work and it ends up taking you longer to complete. Also their credits do not transfer so if you finally get wise to their game you can't stop and go elsewhere without repeating their courses. The favorites game is rediculous and if your not a favorite you better work your ass off and be smart. Or my favorite was the teacher who taught to the dumbest person. I was so irritated I was ready to pull my hair out. The teachers are snobby and arogant and most don't give you the time of day. You can tell them the correct way to say your name, but don't count on them ever remembering. The students have a false sense of superiority when compared with other schools, but they have burned bridges with several good name vets in the area who will no longer take their interns or volunteers. They even now make you buy their scrubs which you can not wear elsewhere. It is the biggest money-grubbing school I've seen.My advice, go elsewhere, community college will charge you a fraction and give you a better experience with more hands on.
