ONU is an interesting place. First of all, one must remember that it is offering a Many people may complain of the rules here (and there are quite a few, restriction is abundant), but the rules are all in-line with Christian morals and ethics. However, where the school fails is in its administration. The faculty is wonderful, most of the professors are absolutely brilliant, however the people actually running the school are less so. Some points:1. Financial aid that is promised to you may not (probably will not) stick around, if you cannot pay do not come, there is no deferment program2. Bigotry is abundant in the non-academics. Those of you who wish to express new ideas, are homosexual, or desire an open-minded view of the world, do not come here.3. This school has a bad habit. It accepts nearly everyone, then slowly weeds out less desirable students by expulsion, removal of financial aid, etc. The only issue is that this removal is not wholly based on academic achievement or failure, but rather on views expressed and opinions heldIn short, this school is good for a select group, do not be drawn in by the instant acceptance, observe your options.
