In retrospect, Chapman seems NOT the right college for serious students in anything Science related! The various departments seem to lag a bit and are generally behind the latest trends and developments within most respective fields. Funny to say but the snooty campus atmosphere is well represented by the Women's basketball team, many of whom have their pointy little noses wayyy high up in the air! There is not a high crime rate on campus per se but incidents are often not taken seriously when they do occur. Incidents of forced sexual aggression and assault have been a concern at parties I have attended both on and off campus.
