BJU is a good college. I would recommend that if you are choosing a major outside of the ministry that you look into accreditation BEFORE you go. Don't blame the university if you didn't do your research on accreditation until AFTER attending. BJU has many success stories through their graduates before they got accreditation.

Spiritually speaking, BJU can be a help in your Christian walk, but remember that you answer to God, not BJU. BJU DOES NOT place themselves as god-like, but you have to grow in the Lord through your daily walk not theirs. If you know your Bible you will no where to agree and disagree with the university.

Positive attitude is always a must. Don't let the negative comments about BJU or anyother Christian college distract you from finding the place God wants you at. It amazes me that most of the negative comments are from former students that either didn't do their research on the university until after the fact or they wanted to get away from mom and dad and go to a party school. Some may say they are a cult or prevert Christianity, but you should have done your research BEFORE going there. You will get good Bible teaching from the university and NO IT IS NOT A CULT.
