Major: Urban Planning (This Major's Salary over time)
Some people love QC, while others hate it. I'm leaning closer to the hate side. I came because of the low tuition, financial aid and grants, and amazing athletics faculty. For the most part, you're on your own academically. Most professors are arrogant and they generally lecture aimlessly and give 3 tests. Homework is sometimes given, depending on the professor and participation in the lecture is not encouraged. In the science department, Queens could be a bit more helpful (with the exception of physics) and most math, fnes, etc. majors are miserable. There are, however, some majors such as urban studies, english, business, physics, etc that have amazing professors and great internship and opportunities. It all depends on what you plan to do while you're here.If you aren't an athlete or a non-traditional student, don't bother wasting your time here. It isn't a great college experience.
