Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
I'll try to make this short and straight the point. Just a lil background from me~I'm a junior, psychology major, and I actually transferred to Flagler College from IRSC-another college about 4 or so hours south of Flagler. So yes, I write this review on Flagler in comparison of quality from another college that I recently attended. In this review I will write about four things: The education system, the professors, the student body, and lastly just campus life in general.

EDUCATION SYSTEM: Despite what anybody says~Flagler College does indeed give you quality education. It's challenging~and what you sow you will reap. In most departments, they provide internships and plenty of opportunities for on-hand training to prepare you for your future work in your career. But once again, you have to be serious and truly wish to succeed. Passion, motivation, time management, good friends-if you have all these; I believe you will enjoy the education that Flagler has to offer.

PROFESSORS: For the professors in the psychology department, I can personally say that I enjoy all of their classes. And from what I hear from other students, most professors in Flagler actually care about their students and wish for their success. I ones I have right now-they're always more than willing to talk and help you improve. However, like any other college I guarantee you, not ALL professors are great. There will always be one or two bad apples. To pick the good ones from the bad ones, I suggest using ratemyprofessor.com

STUDENT BODY: Like anywhere else you go, there's always those people that are really, really nice that you get along with. And then there's always those people that you just glance by and think "meh"; not so likeable. Either way, Flagler College is really small. And you will easily recognize a face every day you wake up and go to class. I truly believe most people here are sociable~and I've yet to meet someone here who I think is detestable. I highly suggest getting involved~sports, clubs, events, etc. If not, your network of people you know and who know you will probably be very, very small to where no one notices you. This is college, try to be active.

CAMPUS LIFE: If you live on campus, you might find it dull on Fridays nights, Saturdays, and Sundays. Why? Nothing's going on, and most people leave for the weekend. However, during Mon-Thurs-it's like life springs once again on campus cause everyone is back. Campus life, in short, is friendly. For guys, you have 3 dorms. Lewis(Freshmen/Soph) Cedar (Fresh/Soph/Juniors) and FEC (Juniors/Seniors). FEC is greatest of all the dorms. You'll prob be looking forward to get into there. As for the dining hall- the food is not from a 5-star restaurant like most people apparently were expecting when they first came here. The food is ediblee, not GREAT, but edible. Some days its ok, some days its not, and rarely it'll actually be worth eating. If you're from some rich family and are used to high-quality food; then yeah, you'll be dissappointed. Might want to bring your personal chef and butler with you.

Personally, I love the college. Unlike the other college I attended, the professors here care about you and they will help prepare you for the future. The work is not easy, they do challenge you. I'm a procrastinator, and I will tell you-that procrastinating here is not as easy as it was in highschool or the other college I went to. Want a good start on your future? Want good quality education? Want a friendly environment where you can get both? Flagler is one place to go to. I'm sure there are others, and Flagler is not for everyone~but it's a great college…
