Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
Its a great medium sized private catholic college but not overly religious. I sometimes forget I am in a catholic school until I see the cross on the wall in each classroom. The student body is my FAVORITE part of the school. I feel like the students are approachable and nice but since this is the real world not everyone is not what you expect them to be. Being a biology major you have to do a lot of work so you sometimes have to skip that party at the frat house or not go to the bar to study because my bio professor 8 out of 10 will call on me and others in class for an answer and you wont be happy if you don't know the answer. I feel that you will get something out of each of your class you take even PHILOSOPHY. The teachers here are really helpful but there was one teacher i had for pre calc who had no idea what he was doing which just made me have to work harder on my own and go to the Rudin Center for tutoring and i pulled a B average. This college helps you become more independent and the professors are not going to baby you like your teachers in high school did but they will guide you in certain way so you can succeed. The campus is BEAUTIFUL which is what really drew me to this college. The food is awesome! You get $900 to spend on on-campus food and $800 to spend on food on the street of North ave. Love this school so much! Me and the people who live on my floor are like family now and there is a TON of community service to do. I LOVE THIS COLLEGE and I would recommend anyone to go with a certain GPA of course because they are making it harder to get in. There is always something to do no matter what your preference. No matter what other people tell you about all the partying and drinking the students do ITS COLLEGE every school has that problem to the full extent you just have to choose if you want to party no one is going to force you.
