SIUE is overall a good school. Edwardsville is a very small town, but safe compared to St. Louis. Not much to do in Edwardsville, but you can always go to STL. SIUE is more of a commuter campus. Alot of the students leave right after class. and because of that SIUE don't have a major social life compared to other colleges. I would suggest bringing a car to campus, if possible. IF your from a bigger, more engage city, you might find SIUE & Edwardsville boring. Some Chicago students transfer out because of that. The classrooms could use some updating. I'm a transfer student, and Overall I don't regret coming here, it's a good school. They have a good business, pharmacy, dental, & nursing program. You can't beat the price tag, and books are included in the tuition. Definitely a great value. Most graduates are probably not in a lot of debt compared to other colleges.
