Major: Accounting (This Major's Salary over time)
For the most part the Accounting Program is good. The rest of the school is a mess. Professors are disgruntled by administration; some literally won't teach; they simply read power point slide to you with no contextualization on the subject. The school wonders why so many students don't attend class. I can save an hour commute time, and $25 in cost by staying home and reading the slides myslef. Countless students express their frustration with this outside of class. The Class syllabus, curriculum, methods of instruction, home work, and testing methods are disorganized and disconnected. The lack of cohesion in the curriculum leaves you disoriented, and feeling like "what am I doing here". I was fortunate that some one else was paying the tution cost because if I had to pay out of pocket, I WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED at this University. I'm going to another school for my Master Degree. Further Professors treat the student body like it's high school, and the requirments often times are busy work with only half relevance. The biggest tradegty is there are a handful of great Professor at CSUEB, who care, teach, and impart useful education that you can take and apply in the real world. If you have an alternatvie choice I suggest you excersize it. Best of luck.
