Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
I absolutely love the Psychology Department. All of the professors are extremely helpful. They really love their field and enjoy sharing it with students. I wish there was more a variety in the language department. They offer french spanish and german but german is always cancelled due to lack of interest. Marymount puts a lot of emphasis on internships and preparing for life after college. That is really helpful. The career center does mock interviews to get you prepared for job interviews. They also have tons of connections in the DC area for internships. Marymount is a small school, its not really a place where you can skip class all the time and no one notices, so if you are looking to lose yourself in mass of students this really isn't the place for you. By the same token, because its a small school there are no fraternities or sororities or mega big social events. There is a social life but not as active as a big school, though I feel like being so close to DC makes up for that.
