is a for-profit school with 2nd tier accreditation. They
charge $450/credit hour, compare with CUNY charges $205 in-state and
$435 out-of-state. CUNY is a respected school with 1st
tier accreditation meaning a CUNY degree is worth something to
employers and CUNY credits will transfer to other schools -
not so for Globe. PBS Frontline has done investigations
of for-profit schools and they are currently under investigation by
Congress who will hopefully pass legislation but it won't be
strong enough to discourage profiteers like Globe. The degree
you get from Globe will be worthless and you will
have paid more than twice what you should have so
if you haven't done your own investigation you better do
so now. These schools are guilty of fraud and
hard-sell tactics that need to be outlawed ASAP.
