 As a recent graduate of Design Institute I am surprised to see this comment. There are a lot of hands on projects as well as critiques from instructors but I found that to be directly applicable to the design world outside of school and were hardly "arts and crafts." And though not all teachers are created equal, I had many great ones who care so much that I’m still in touch with them two years later! And as far as the sleep deprivation, well, I can’t argue with you there. However, it has helped me understand time management and deadlines. That experience has been vital in the professional world. |

dont go here. If you like to spend hours doing arts and crafts projects then have them belittled by your teachers. Teachers there dont care about the students. Ive never spent so much time crying and have never been so sleep deprived.
