THE United States Naval Academy… sucks. No question there. You always have to fight through "the endless bummer." Unless you have been there there is no good way to understand fully understand it. Just a long monotonous grind you cannot even imagine.
That said it is an amazing opportunity. It provides a excellent education, great friends, interesting stories, a career, and most importantly, a chance to serve.
Midshipman will always bitch and moan about this place but at the end of the day the idea of getting kicked out is terrifying and very few people leave voluntarily. No regrets, I would do it again.
