Miles College

I attended Miles College for 2 year and a half. I withdrew during my Sophomore year. I have positive and negative views about Miles College. I will begin with the negative since they are extremely long and conclude with the postive in a form of a list. anyody can get in a drug dealer, murder, theif, crackhead, anybody you uncle earl and aunt peaches if they hit a couple of banks when i say anybody i mean anybody you can be 45 and even 65 it dont matter

Dorms (Pitts and Murchinson) are small, nasty, and unsuitable for any human being

Dorm regulations are horrible

Off Campus Apartments (Monte Sano) A.K.A "The Yellows" and North Campus! The Yellows are filthy, infested, unsafe apartments.

(The Yellows)

Infested with roaches,rats, and other small pests.

Former SGA President and another Student was held at gunpoint for their belongings

A student was also robbed for their laptop when they went away for the weekend.

The coach that stays in the apartments is a prevert he is always walking around the apartments looking into ppls windows

The apartments are located in the middle of the projects (North Campus) is more secluded into the neighborhood it is also infested with roaches other than that it is more suitable (Cafteria)

The cafeteria or the cafe as they call it has its advantages and disadvantages.

The cafe has a big black fat gay man at the door checking to confirm if you're a student that is suppose to eat in the cafeteria.

The Cafe ladies are pretty nice and sweet

They can be mean if you are mean and nice if you are nice

The food is okay somedays and horrible on others.

I do recall them doing special things for holidays

Like raffles and Jazz sets on V-Day, Buffet for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Somedays you eat whatever they serve and if you like it or not its what you eat regardless or you starve. Thank God Mickey Dees is down the road

The administration

The dean of student affairs and her secretary are messy to the extreme. they let random students sit in their office and talk about other students. then they claim its for them to be aware of the happenings. yeah yeah sure . dont tell them anything, they spread your business very very verrry verrrrrrrrrrrrry unorganized the f.i.o will lose your information and expect you to do it all over again the business office loses your stuff too the mail room is unorganized the secretary of the president will lie like the president is out of america (like they dont want you talking to your own president) the academics is what miles college is all about they have a cae program and they also believe firmly in education if you want to attend miles for education purposes only and not

FOR THE COLLEGE EXPERIENCE … then attend the school

Greek Life is a bust we have very few deltas, one zeta, a few sigmas , a decent amount of alphas, and like 7 or 8 kappas we have one sgrho and we have a fair amount of ques . but they suck all they do is stroll and throw parties every now and again. no campus involvement. they have to be mandated by the dean to want to have something on campus. its boring. the deltas are quietly messy and the akas are ugly ass all get out .. one sgrho who is white although i have never heard of sgrho and one zeta who is nappy headed and rachet. oh and the square and wall of ignorance is something you should know about any school that has a wall of ignorance tells u how parallelly ghetto to the neighborhood it surrounds. the square is for ppl who have nothing better to do but to sit and watch ppl who come and go throughout the campus. ppl sit there to smoke, gossip, and raise hell in the middle of the campus. the wall of ignorance is near the cafeteria… its named after the ppl who sit on it day to day and never go to class. the students are either from ghetto ass chicago, atlanta or florida ! shame ! its a shame ! they get all these ghetto loud as ppl from all over to meet in one place to raise hell. the best thing that ever happened to Miles is dr.french the president he has vision, drive, and most importantly faith he believes Miles can be something better and he shows everybody he means business and im not saying that because he is a good looker either. overall miles is miles dont go unless you like black ppl , black mess, black ppl running a business, and black problems. i would only attend for the academics and the president. other than that ..n0 way hoezay
