.) Price. Don't go to Keuka unless you have a scholarship. It's not worth it. The Board of Trustees and the George Ball Scholarships, along with others, provide a heavy chunk of your tuition. If you don't have a scholarship, just go to community college or a state school. You're getting nothing here.

.) Competitiveness in general. Teachers rarely curve, especially in the math/science department. When the average in the class is a 55%, the curve isn't set upon that - it's a 55% and it's failing. Bigger, better schools curve (I'm looking at you, Ivy Leagues), and in grad school, most of my tests were curved.

.) Social. Everyone knows your business here BUT let me be clear: IF YOU GO TO A BIG SCHOOL PEOPLE WILL KNOW YOUR BUSINESS THERE TOO! Some big schools have dorm buildings as populous as Keuka College - gossip travels fast in a dorm just as it does across the KC campus. It's an issue of scaling.

.) Extracurriculars. Ample opportunities to be a member of a club and it's simple to become a leader (pad your resume!!!). Be warned - if you're not in a glory position, no one will verbally recognize you and you WILL be overshadowed by easy glory jobs.

.) The Senate. This council is led by an unofficial dictator who decides what flies and what doesn't. You pay a student fee so that the Senate can get recognized for being stingy on programs, but generous on insignificant scholarships, fitness room improvements, and more. Suggestion: INVEST IN A SAFE WAY TO TRAVEL THE 5 MILES INTO TOWN TO GO TO THE BARS! Believe it or not many people go to the bars and choose NOT to drink. A "drunk bus" would be a fantastic way to encourage safe fun (oh and every other school ever has seen this concept come to fruition).
