Iona felt like a waste of time to me. I made friends and enjoyed my time Freshman year until they all transferred and left me stuck for another half of a year. I tried waiting it out to finish another year but I couldnt. The social life is very lame, mostly drinking in dorm rooms and if not that then spending tons of money in NYC. I ended up going home mostly every weekend just to escape the college. Teachers were helpful most the time to me but every once in awhile I would get a teacher that blatantly wouldn't care. It does feel like the college cares more about money than anything because you could fail out and they still beg you to go even though it's obvious that this college isn't right. This college reminded me just like highschool, especially the classwork. I personally feel like Iona isn't worth how much it costs to attend. I am going to transfer this semester and I couldn't be happier. Even though I will miss a couple of my friends still left there, they too plan on leaving the college. I know people say don't listen to negative reviews but if you read all of ours they are mostly the same complaints.
