Seriously the most unorganized school on this planet. How is this place even accredited? I?m a junior here and I have not one good thing to say about this place, except for its small classes, but what good does a small class do when the professor is an idiot and the students don?t take anything seriously?

This school is full of a bunch of stuck-up dancers and annoying theatre kids. Do NOT come here if you are an academic major. The school pours all their money into the dance and theatre program, leaving nothing for the academic programs. So basically they're promoting and funding non-academic and pointless "careers". And the dance/theatre program isn't even that good. I've seen a few dance recitals here, they suck. No genuine talent, just a bunch of kids trying to "make it". And don?t come here expecting a date either, of the like 200 guys that go here, 98% of them are gay, and the other 2% are definitely not worth the time of day. And the girls have no brains. So you're SOL.

I feel that it is my obligation to warn prospective students to cancel your application NOW. this school is fucking HORRIBLE, and I hesitate to even call it a school. I have seriously never been so disgusted with an institution in my entire life. They lie to you upfront about everything but you don?t realize it until it?s too late and you?ve already paid your tuition. Save yourself 40 grand and just go to CUNY Hunter. Shit, even going into debt at NYU or Columbia is better than having to go to this worthless school. If this place wasn't in NYC it wouldn't even exist.

Oh and I would also like to have a short discussion about the president/dean.. Judson Shaver. He's a money-embezlling idiot. He is one of the top paid private school presidents in the country. Which is fucked up because this school has less than 2,000 students and the whole school is only two buildings. He takes money from the students tuitions and buys himself nice apartments. When he actually does use the money for the school, it's for stupid, unproductive, useless shit. Only Marymount would replace their 75" flat screens TVs with brand new 150" flat screen TVs that none of the faculty even knows how to use. This school is all for show. It might be pretty on the outside, but once you get in there you realize how horribly unorganized the infrastructure is. This school has made my life a living hell and I wouldn't be surprised if it got shut down in a few years. DO. NOT. GO. HERE.
