Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
I hear the school is nice if you are a theater/dance major. The school of communications however, is in bad shape. Point Park doesn't give it much money so the equiptment is all very broken and used. There are not enough teachers to teach all the classes which also makes classes unavailable most semesters. Some of the teachers give assignments that are almost impossible to accomplish and the other half don't really give any. Some teachers are never around for help and never contact students back through email or phone. The communications school had me take 6 classes I didn't need and then told me I have to come and pay for an extra year to make up for the mistake. If the students have a collective problem about something, the school ignores it. A huge number of students transfer to other schools because of the ignored problems. The school spent over 6.6 million dollars to build a tiny park for students but refuses to give any money to the photography department (photography is expensive and they don't cover the costs just for the chemicals).
