Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I graduated from the Crosby MBA program in May 2011. Coming from a lesser-ranked undergraduate program, the program seemed wonderful; great professors, cheap tuition, good school, decently competitive students, many extracirricular activities, extremely friendly staff.

However, the two things that makes this program horrible is its career advisors and horrible job placement. The truth is that the majority of the students who graduate don't get real jobs. And those, like me, who do get jobs usually settle for low-paying jobs that a student with an associates degree could do just as competently. Want an internship? Forget about it. The placement rate for internships is so low, that if you are set on getting one, it would be better to try your luck elsewhere.

There are two career advisors, neither have much experience in the actual job market. One is an ex-stoner who talks about her artistic side too much and who is more fit to work at McDonalds than a top business school. The other is a psychotic b-tch who doesn't understand what emotional intelligence is. Both people are equally worthless and will contribute nothing to your career/time in graduate school.

I was also accepted to the MU law school for a JD/MBA combo. However, seeing that the placement rate for law is even worse and that its rankings slid for #107, I decided not to give Mizzou another chance.

However, the school attracts a variety of students from across mostly the midwest. They work hard to contribute and create a good social vibe in the program. The actual MBA staff really like their job and like the students.

All in all, its a good program, but trust me,the horrible job placement, and equally horrible advisors make a world of difference.

Bottom line: If you want a job, AVOID the Crosby MBA.
