Major: Public Policy (This Major's Salary over time)
As a current undergraduate student at the University of Charleston, I am very happy with the UC Experience I have had the past two years. This school, unlike others, caters to the individual needs of the students in order for them to receive the education they desire. I will be graduating a year early as a double major with a minor. I do not believe that advisors from large universities work with their students enough in order for them to achieve such. My professors are all friendly, approachable, and well skilled in their areas of profession. I am also very active in extracurricular activities on campus and know for a fact that an event is scheduled on UC's campus at least every night and sometimes several per night. There are numerous activities hosted on the University of Charleston?s campus that cater to a variety of student interests. I am in a sorority on campus as well, and can say for a fact that Greek life here is going strong. The only groups that have left campus were ones that violated the strict hazing policy that UC enforces. Greek life right now is at the top of its game and we do have a national fraternity on campus. As a whole my experience at UC has been phenomenal and I would not transfer schools if I had the chance.
