4000 students from 43 states and 38 countries, 46 majors,
over 120 students organizations and Division I athletics, Elon offers
the ideal combination of a friendly collegiate community with the
opportunities of a university. The beautiful 500-acre campus is
situated in the middle of North Carolina, adjacent to Burlington,
a town of approximately 45,000 residents. Greensboro is within
15 minutes and the Chapel Hill/Raleigh/Research Triangle Park areas are
all under an hour from Elon. Elon has
one of the nation's premier foci on experiential learning.
Students are given the opportunity to be interactive in the
classroom and are also encouraged to participate in programs known
as the Elon Experiences: study abroad, internships, volunteer service, leadership
development and undergraduate research. Our goal is to give
students excellent career preparation through their chosen major, as well
