Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I attended Lee University in the late 1990s. I have since gone on to graduate school and now hold a doctorate; I found myself well-prepared by Lee University for competitive graduate work in state universities. I have also maintained relationships with my undergraduate professors and friends in the 10+ years following my graduation. The only difficulty that I really had at Lee was when I lived on campus; even as a teenager, I was accustomed to more freedom than Lee allowed, but I made the choice to attend that school, and I knew the score when I went in. I moved off campus as soon as possible, and my experience at the school improved immensely once I simply got out from under the perpetual surveillance. The interplay of academics, peer social interaction, faculty/student relationships, and general campus life create a unique and valuable undergraduate experience that I wouldn't trade for the anonymity of the State U (which I have also experienced). Lee University is worth the investment, if its worldview is compatible with yours.
