The professors in the Urban Education/ World Languages department are talented and knowledgeable. They come prepared to lecture as well as provide interactive classroom opportunities. Students are expected to know material and come to class ready to contribute to class discussion. Dr. L?pez-D?az and Dr. Farina are incredible professors who have challenged my scholarship and professionalism. I am a better teacher because of their training and model. Small classes promote community and greater interaction. It has been a fantastic experience and as a result will pursue a PhD in Applied Linguistics.
