It fills a need. If you want an accredited and fairly fast degree through distance learning this school is for you.

That pretty much sums up my feelings toward TESC. I bounced around from college to college and never stuck at one school more than a year. Each school had it's own set of requirements and I felt like i'd never finish. Luckily I found this school. They will most likely accept virtually all of your credits and allow you to complete a degree a lot faster than anywhere else.

It is regionally accredited which is a big plus. I have been accepted into a well-respected graduate program with my degree from TESC. The only downside to this degree is that when job hunting the name recognition is pretty much non-existent. Another downside is that you will have to jump through a lot of hoops to graduate. I was constantly calling to straighten things out. I also had to do an extra semester, because of all the red tape. Classes can be really good or really bad (like anywhere). I found the professors very attentive and helpful. An exciting development that I found very interesting is that TESC is no longer only a distance learning college. They now offer some classes (nursing?) on-campus. If you ever choose to visit the physical campus, you will not be disappointed. It is a very small campus, but it does have some pretty buildings.

Overall, I am very happy because TESC allowed me to get my B.A. without having to retake a lot of classes.

Absolutely go to this school IF you have tons of credits from other places (they take up to 120 or 90 from a CC). If you are looking for a distance education college to start out at you should still consider TESC, but also look in to Charter Oaks state college and Excelsior college. They are very similar to TESC and i cannot speak to which one is best.
