This school is bullshit. Everyone here is completely stuck up. They all drive their mustangs, BMWs and porches around campus. All there is to do is go to parties and drink and go to clubs, which is fine if you're a rich white kid. The only transportation there is if you don't have a car is a cab. So if you want to go to the club, you have to pay to get in, pay for the cab, and pay for the drinks. All the students neglect their academics and focus on partying. The food is bad. You get sick of it really fast. The campus is really small and there's nothing to do. All the girls are sluts and the boys are assholes. Downtown Tampa has nothing to do either. The only places I've been to are CVS and Subway. The surrounding area is crappy too. It's also very hard to make friends if you're not playing a sport or in a sorority/fraternity. The freshman dorms are shit. McKay and Smiley are falling apart, and the Howard Johnson smells bad. The other dorms are okay. There's a good amount of international students too, which is nice. Unless you're into partying and drinking, you will spend your weekends in your room. All of the rich kids also complain about spending money unless it's on alcohol or clubbing. If you're into that, UT is for you. If you want classy people and things to do, don't go to this school. The only good things about it are the academics, professors, and pool. Other than that, it's crap. Run.
