I transferred into ODU as a sophomore music performance major. I have since switched to their inter-disciplinary program which combines Music and Business cores with an audio production track. This university is too big for it's britches, but all in all a good experience. People are overall nice, but their is also a lot of "cliqueiness". The predominant mindset here is left to far left, though there are also a lot of foreign exchange students. The education also tends to be a little less conservative than what one might find at say Regent U.

There aren't enough professors in some departments, and usually they also hold the responsibility of being advisors when registration time comes around. Figuring out parking is the hardest part; freshman from out of town shouldn't bother bringing a car with them. The most common complaint from students here is having to take general ed. courses that seem irrelevant, but what else do you expect from a liberal arts college? Another downside here is that some courses are only offered once a year or every other year, meaning some of our students get stuck waiting around for 1 or 2 classes just to graduate.
