Major: Physical Therapy/Exercise Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I completely agree with the other review of the physical therapy program completed by another student. This program is terrible and would recommend going ANYWHERE but LLU for a PT degree especially the DPT degree. The DPT program is setup so that you are a good at taking written tests and no where near as much emphasis is placed on being a good clinician or practicing physical therapist. The other review is correct that the grading system is ridiculous and you do not get the grade that you deserve. They accept a high number of students (70+) in order to make up for losing 10 to 15 out of their program once it is completed. Once you do get a letter that you are below their 3.0 GPA which is graded on a curb that really is NOT a curb you are like a horse with broken legs. Prepare for not finishing your education at LLU at that point. The school is also very expensive and there is no tutoring program or help from other peers when you are struggling in a class that such school as the University of St. Augustine has. All and all if you do choose to go to Loma Linda University prepare to be frustrated and angry about your education and the way you are treated by your professors.
