For starters dont't go to this school if you wont a real collegiate education. This school is very much segregated. Their are all the natural components of high school and the international students who stay in their own dorm(Weaver). At methodist its an dry campus and all of the parties are carried out off campus.Their are Fraternities and Sororities on campus but, sadly they don't do anything since its a dry campus after all. The city of Fayetteville is a crack town their are prositutes and pimps walking down the streets. The Cops don't care they just drive on by, If you even see the non relevent cops. Never mention this school is very expension be prepared to look for lots of scholarships, grants and loans. Thankfully the school itself offers decent grands and scholarships.BUT They don't cover all of the tuition. If you are a freshmen you'll stay in the run down Sanford and Cumberland. Lots of bugs, cold water, and a bunch of rowdy hicks from Florida. If are not part of a club in this school your social life will greatly be affected. The school worships their Dlll Football team, and athletics overall are pathetic. Don't come here expecting decent athletics, and their's no school spirit. A large percentage of the student body hails from North Carolina and go back home during the weekends. Their nothing to do during the weekends so prepare to be bored out of your mind. Their is a lot of rednecks here so be aware if you don't fit the stereotypical mold get the fuck out mentality. Their is a lack of communication at this campus. Their was a time when I was looking for work study and went to career services . The lady at the front desk gave me a list of jobs openings. I went to talk to the supervisor of the positions several times most of the time they aren't in their rooms. With no schedule posted up. This school is so small that its becomes an extension of high school.The professors are pretentious but are helpful time after time. Sometimes depending on your professor they don't answer students emails. Very annoying when you are trying to get a decent grade in your classes.Stay away from Ms. Johnson ( advisor ) she is a redneck that only see things through her limited lenses. Overall if you choose to attend this incredibly small university make sure you know what you are getting yourself into.Hopes this is some useful advice and your future endeavors.
