I transferred to Monmouth University after attending my freshman year at a different college and honestly, it was the best decision I have ever made.

The school is beautiful, so if you are considering going to Monmouth take a tour of the campus! Wilson hall is marvelous and is actually fascinating to look at. The building is considered a historical site so the school has to build around the rooms in order to not destroy history.

The professors are great. Some are challenging, but they all care about their students. The coursework is a bit more challenging here than at my previous school, but I still enjoy my classes. The class sizes are extremely small, so everyone receives individual attention. The professors are usually always open to give extra help during office hours.

As for social life, I love it. There is usually always something to do and everyone is extremely friendly. Every person on campus is open to make new friends. There are numerous clubs one can join to get involved. The frat and sorority life runs campus. As a girl, it is easy to have a night life without being in a sorority. It may be a bit more difficult for guys who are not in a frat. The Greek like is quickly growing on campus. There is no 'Greek row' and the Greek houses are all located off campus (not very far). If Greek life is not for you, don't worry! There are so many different people on campus. So it should not be hard to find a group of people you feel like you belong to. IF you ever lose anything on campus you are bound to get it back. Students on campus usually try as hard as they can to give back people's personal belongings, no matter how valuable they may be. It is rare for someone to steal on campus.

The only issue with this school is the price. The price is outrageous so you really have to be sure the school is right for you.

As for the parties, they get busted once in a while. They don't as often as people are claiming they do. It is rare for a party to get busted. It may be because frats are better at hiding parties from the police than they were two years ago.

Visit the school and see if it is for you!

The price at monmouth is actually very, very reasonable for a PRIVATE
Institution. just compare the price to franfklin and Marshall where President brown is sending his daughter. As for Monmouth itself it is Avery poor school.
To think that private secondary schools
In New Jersey with a fraction of the
Enrollment have endowments many times greater. It' alright if your parents can't afford to send you away and you have to
Commute but oath wise it is a very poor
School with a ridiculously high student
Teacher ratio. The future for Monmouth
With it's limited resources is bleak indeed..
When I graduated in 1964 it was probably
One of the worst colleges in the USA.
There is little geographical diversity and
Just not much to offer.
Soncerely, BOB TORRES
