I LOVE the Grand Rapids campus! Dean Miller is so helpful with endless resources and his faculty are all so helpful. I've even been invited to dinner on several occasions, and for holidays everyone away from family is invited to professors' homes. The one issue with Cooley is everyone gets in. They give too many chances to the undeserving. So naturally, 1/2 of the students I started with have dropped out. I've managed the honor roll and dean's list every term, it's not impossible. Hard worm seems rare to find amongst my generation but, the strong will survive and graduate on time. There are endless student groups, there are parties, friends, everything. There are review sessions, study groups, chances to network, guest speakers fron the community, and clinics for students to work. As students we are in the kent county courtrooms arguing cases, we are writing about current events, and we are getting hammered with the terrifying socratic method to prepare us for real life. It has been both the best, and yet most terrifying experience of my entire life. Law school isn't for everyone, but if you are willing to give blood, sweat, and tears, it is so worth it. Oh, and the cost? If you do well enough on the LSAT Cooley is practically free. Check out their honor scholarships.
