I have gone to Mass Maritime for the last two years, and I would tell anyone I know that plans on going to not. The school's ultra-strict and the disciplinary system seems to favor those who are friends with cadets in power. If you have any sort of health problems don't go to Mass Maritime either. You sign your life away when you come here and it haunts you everywhere you go. I am in the International Business department and the vice-head is a self-absorbing snob who looks down on all his students because they do not understand his version of teaching, he spends half the class talking down on our lives. It is a shame because the program has a lot of potential. With the economy looking on the upside again, I would say anyone looking to study business here would be better off at another college with a recognized business school, trust me no matter how they advertise the job afterwords it is NOT worth it.
