Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
Obviously UCSD's economics dept is very highly ranked nationally, but that said, my experiences here have been sub par to expectations. Faculty does not wish to provide students with real world training, insights, or perspective. You could easily graduate without knowing who the head of the Federal Reserve Board was or any other relevant information regarding the current economic landscape. Is that why economics is called the "dismal" science?…, because of the pathetic nature of UCSD undergrads?
