Rowan is a business, not a place of higher learning. I feel like going here set me back academically. It is located in a ghetto. Kids from town are violent, and so are a lot of the students who go here. I've seen a lot of fights in the off campus apartments. On October 27, 2007 (during Homecoming festivities) 19-year old sophomore Donald Farrell was robbed and beaten to death by unknown assailants while walking behind the Triad dormitory. The police are out to bust you for whatever they can. Campus is littered with beer cans and vomit every weekend. I had a few good teachers when I went here, but for the most part I regret the decision. I transferred and never looked back.
