Hi, my name is Lexi and I am a freshman in highschool.I have been assigned Bates college to research and present for a class assignment. I would like to ask you what there is to do off campus, even though you have already said it's too small and not a lot to do. I'm just curious as to the few things there are to do. |

I chose to come to Bates for sports. I care deeply about my sport and figured it would be enough to like the school. After being here I realize it is not the place for me. Too small and not many ways to be social and get off campus. The city of Lewiston is not nice and I would not recommend walking alone. If you truly want a small high school feel then bates is perfect for you however if you want a spirited busy campus and bigger social scene I would recommend looking elsewhere. Do not base your college decision on whether or not you were recruited. As of now I plan on transferring.
