Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I hate the lack of communication between departments more than anything. It will cause a lot of trouble when it comes to making payments, and registration. They are very unorganized as well. If you call them now in 2015, you will hear voice recordings from 2014 with different information. They seem to "trick you" into extra payment. They will tell you due dates, but nowhere will they tell you about late fees. You want to drop a class? You're still going to have to pay for it even though they say they allow classes to be dropped up until the end of February. If you're an art major, the buildings are dirty, falling apart, and uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning at my class at grant hall for the first few weeks of the semester. Then at another time, they were doing construction and the whole area smelt terrible. One thing I like is that there are galleries with some cool art around the area. Some of the art staff is good too. For a semester I had thought I was a painting/drawing major, and even met with an academic adviser who didn't tell me otherwise. Later I find out I was never listed as having a concentration.
